Personality: One might think that some Unseelie spirits might either be very sadistic or dull. Although she knows she isn't human, she doesn't quite like being called a monster, but it seems to be a common belief amongst the populace that she has simply accepted, even if it may hurt. For all that has been mentioned of Dullahan in legend, Celty knows only by public knowledge since those memories are yet lost with her missing head. Although previously obsessed with finding any possible lead to her head, she's recently come to accept this new life she has, and the strange and perhaps equally obsessed love of the man she's been living with all this time in Ikebukuro. It's a weight off her shoulders, a breath of fresh air, to be accepted by Shinra Kishitani, and little by little in some strange way, the people of Ikebukuro themselves.

Celty does not lack in emotion- in fact she expresses much of what you'd expect from normal people, capable of feeling a complete range that it would be difficult to believe that she wasn't human unless you saw her without her helmet. She'd used to be constantly frustrated as her search for her head had been fruitless, and just when she thought she'd had a lead, it turned out to be a false start. It's because of Shinra that she's worked her way past this. Her temperament is otherwise quite controlled, and she's not known to lash out in anger. Ironically, she's quite capable of keeping a cool head.

Being amongst humans and interacting with them as she has for the past twenty years has slowly started to affect the way she acts and feels. Emotions previously unknown to her have started to dawn upon her, such as her closeness to Shinra, although she's still working her way around this new aspect of their relationship. She still can't understand a lot of things as humans do strange things, but she seems to have an appreciation for life and the world around her, and she's learning more and more about humans and the individuals that slowly enter her circle of acquaintances. As a courier she enjoys racing down the streets of Ikebukuro on her motorcycle, although she's not often thrilled with some of the jobs that Shinra manages to secure for her due to their questionable nature, but when your roommate is a doctor who treats people off the record then it's perhaps to be expected. During her off-time she enjoys indulging in media, and her watching movies and television have definitely influenced her in some ways that the lines between what might be considered fiction blurs. Given that she's pretty much a supernatural being, it seems perfectly reasonable to be open to those possibilities. Unfortunately this is also where her fear of aliens stems from. Apparently Celty also enjoys gaming, and she's no stranger to the internet, finding technology a great convenience for communicating with others while retaining some anonymity. Little by little she's been owning up to her reputation as the Black Rider, and while some still keep a distance from her in public, she's not been as bothered by it as much.


Abilities: 
She is obviously not human, and due to her strange composition, she apparently can't be killed. Naturally, because she lacks a head, she has nothing to speak through, rendering her mute. She communicates through text, usually on her cellphone, but she is no stranger to a computer and chatrooms either.

Darkness seems to occasionally trail from her, palpable shadows that stream from her neck, and also leaks out if she gets stabbed. These shadows she can manipulate, having a rather wide range for how far she can do so. In example, she created a net of shadows to catch a girl who stepped off the edge of a roof in an alleyway, lowering her to safety. She clothes herself in shadows as well, usually seen in a one-piece biker outfit that seems to absorb light more than reflect it, but she can change her style easily in the same manner, copying various fashion or according to preference. In some like manner it seems her horse is also similar in this respect, a malleable form that while ultimately still possesses the behavior of a horse, can reshape itself to better blend in with the times. Such is why it now takes the form of a motorcycle.

Celty's favored weapon is a large scythe, this which she creates from the shadows that are ever a part of her. She is quite skilled in maneuvering the weapon despite its length and with a double-edged blade practically her own height, but can also manipulate its shape to suit a situation. Celty actually makes little use of the weapon and in fact mainly seems to use it for a fear factor than to cause actual harm. Intimidation and the rumors of the Headless Rider help her to usually get the job done without having to exert any violence.

Despite her lithe frame, Celty's physical strength is much more so than the average human. She can bend a police baton with ease, and her physical strikes are capable of bone-crushing force. She does well enough when she's outnumbered, apparently familiar with some rough form of hand-to-hand combat. Although she can feel pain when injured, it usually doesn't take her long to recover and dole out damage in return. Although lacking a head, she can see, smell and hear things. Her senses have a slightly broader range than humans, but thus far only theories have been made as to why she has senses like that at all, and Celty quite frankly isn't interested in details so long as she knows she can.
